About Ann Seeney

Founder & Principal Consultant

Ann founded Shift HR Consulting after spending over a decade in professional sports having worked for the St. Louis Cardinals and the U.S. Soccer Federation. Ann has a passion for helping businesses unlock their potential. With over 25 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, culture transformation, and executive coaching she has helped companies build stronger teams and create more inclusive workplaces.

Ann brings a unique combination of strategic thinking and practical implementation to every client engagement. Her approach focuses on sustainable change that drives real business results while prioritizing the human element that makes organizations thrive. Ann has a passion for supporting organizations in their growth and has served on numerous boards, including being a founding governing board member and the first Board Chair of Pro Sports Assembly. Currently, she serves on the boards of Black Sports Business Academy as well as Big League Impact. Ann holds a Master of Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law from Tulane University Law School, an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts from Hampton University. She also has her PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.

When she's not helping organizations transform their cultures, Ann enjoys supporting and serving as a resource to HR professionals, mentoring emerging talent, and speaking at industry conferences about the future of work and inclusive leadership.
